Surprised with a Thanksgiving dinner (had forgotten the date). Very welcoming and friendly staff. Great food and drink selection.

Very cozy place, the food is delicious especially the burger. Pretty average price, but the quality speaks for itself. Play chess, enjoy some music, or just chill. It's very refreshing to go somewhere to chill without having to deal with the typically wild environments foreigners tend to create.

It is a cool bar, friendly owner, definitely worth to go.

Great little bar in Kobe. English speaking bar, with rooftop and if you are looking for stay - it has hotel rooms just above the bar. The food menu is custom everyday (they have it on glass) - had the dessert there, and it was delicious!It is a cash only place, so make sure to have something more than credit card xDWent on Saturday during April first week - live music was there, and it was fabulous, real treat for ears. Live music, cocktails, and a killer menu. don’t let the Snoopy Burger’s cute name fool you; it’s no joke. A generous amount of hearty food for a good price. There’s a lot to enjoy there.

The bar is super great for international travelers. The interior is bustling with helpful staff fluent in a variety of languages. They have a really great variety of drinks and on weekends they have live music. The talent they bring in on weekends seems super incredible. They also serve food with a new rotating menu every day. The night I was there, a French chef was in the kitchen cooking beef bourguignon. The portion was small but the beef was definitely in good hands because it tasted as succulent as the sauce it was simmering in and it wasn’t stringy or dry.

Good vibes and very infomal atmosphere in the bar and the hostel. Love the people there. Don't expect high standard on the facilities but the crowed there are great no matter your age.

The nearest station is JR Motomachi. It is also near from Hankyu, JR Sannomiya.Overseas people are owner, Japanese and foreigners crowded.I interrupted at the time of the event.It was a fun and lively atmosphere!

Lovely rooftop, more than reasonable prices. The best thing - staff. 2 friendly, literally breathing their bar guys. I got overnight in Kobe in the middle of the week and they completely made this time by chatting, entertaining me and organized tasting of local spirits and deserts. U will spend great time there, ultimately recommended)

I googled "fun bars Kobe" and this place popped up first. True to the description! Super fun super chill place with amazing rooftop bar and the owner Paul and Bar Manager Jacob really made us feel welcome and comfortable. They have great local beers and good booze selection. Didn't try the food but I have a reason to again. Best part is the mix of tourists, expats, and Japanese locals that makes for a really cool vibe. This place is pretty special.Thanks Paul and Jacob!

A great place with amazing cocktails, good music and ambiance, locals and visitors alike, and stellar food items from around 500 yen with main dishes around 1200 yen. A rare find, operated by the affable Paul and Jacob. There are dorm rooms and long-term stay rooms on the second floor. Check it out!

Great little cosmopoliran bar. Excelllent live music turns. Great food and excellent portion sizes.and pleasant atmosphere. Wonderful selection of spirits too. There is also a rooftop bar/ barbeque area and plenty of sleeping cubicles should the night, quite easily, turn into a very long nite indeed!Well done Paul and the very friendly team there...nice place! Paul welcomes us to his rooftop bar well after midnight having just landed in Kobe and was the perfect host. A lovely atmospheric roof top bar with good beer for weary travelers. Will be back.
